Black mood, black stuff
SO LET'S HAVE A VOTE!
What should I save up and buy next month, or generally in the upcoming months?
Rose Romance dress - Because Halloween is coming up, and maybe I will need to look pretty for something.
An equivalent amount of more casual floofy witchy clothing, because really, that looks comfy and more useful. (When, exactly, do I leave the house, anyway? Heh.) I could use some new long skirts, as mine are getting a bit threadbare.
Trollsta! Trollsta, because I could finally put away the file boxes floating around my living room!
... maybe I'll spring for the dress next month just in case I feel like doing something for Halloween, and buy casual clothes when it's actually cold outside. And plan on getting Trollsta for my birthday in January or something. (Yes, I know IKEA breaks one's heart by discontinuing things, but that JUST CAME OUT, so I'm guessing it will endure through the holiday season.) I'm still not entirely sure I need another big piece of furniture in my itty bitty house, but it's SO PRETTY and functional, and also named Trollsta.
Stuff I will probably buy eventually regardless because I am lame and like toys more than money:
Jonathan Adler Barbie couch - OMG YOU GUYS CHECK OUT THE TINY PILLOW
+ Tarina Tarantino Barbie offa ebay, since they're cheap right now
+ Secret Dolly
+ whatever comes out for Halloween and is awesome. I already got the Pink Witch, but I'm looking at you, Sylvanian Families Japanese Releases Since The American Ones Are A Year Behind. I can't find any info on the Halloween MLP yet. OH HEY, I wonder when Junko Ponyzuno is coming out...

(... so far, only those little creepy Ponyville figures have a Halloween release listed on the site. I'd imagine they would have to do another regular Pony-line Halloween release? But maybe not?)
Tiny furniture is like regular furniture, only YOU KNOW IT WILL FIT IN YOUR HOUSE.
I love that sideboard so hard, but... it's such a commitment, space-wise. I figure the whole birthday-holidays goal would both give me ample time for savings, and also suitable time for angst.
I actually splurged on a lot of summer clothing this year, but my mother keeps insulting the status of my longer skirts, so... yeah. Those look comfy, but dressy enough to randomly go out to dinner or something!

...And then last week, I found the Holiday Version (!!) at TRU, which has a scarf and tinsel in the hair. So possibly even the Super Special Holiday ponies will be the new-style G3.5 ponies and the Ponyville figures.
I'm okay with the Ponyville ponies as long as they're not being bipedal, "holding" objects the way a human would, or otherwise behaving like bipedal humanoids. Those particular weirdly-posed Ponyville ponies set off all kinds of "Wicker Man"/"omg it's someone in a fursuit" warning klaxons in my head. I recognize that it's completely irrational, but I am totally within my rights to something something GOOD LUCK WITH THE SIDEBOARD I HOPE YOU CAN GET IT AND IT WILL FIT IN YOUR HOUSE!!!!

But I think they did a lot of work with the character designs on that specifically NOT to have that fursuit vibe... because that's why I dislike the Ponyville ponies. *shudders* I know they don't ALL pose like that, but they are forever tainted in my mind.
I would honestly not mind if the holiday ones were all lines I don't want, since I think my herd is quite big enough already. (There's a witch, kitty, and... another witch. And then all the pink ones, and superhero and Junko... I uh, I totally wasn't going to collect MLP, you see.)
