Well, my new doctor recommending taking up sunbathing, but she, like myself, is pretty dark-skinned. The "uh yeah, protect your skin and all" seemed to be kind of an afterthought.

(That was one thing that doesn't seem to ever fit the lupus thing -- no, really not photosensitive, here! Not in the least! I just haven't been outside much because outside is usually a physical thing. But... I found exciting ways to lounge outside today.)

I have a super Vitamin D capsule she called in and I got already!

(Major points for this doctor; she doesn't mind just zapping RXes over to my CVS ~with the computer~. This is kind of why I wanted a young doctor, heh.)

Super as in I'm taking it... once a week.

I also made up little pill bottles of all the various vitamins I have lying around... I had a "dur" moment, because back when I was trying the colchicine and it seemed to be helping so much, I had also diligently made up the weekly supplies of all the various supplements, and was taking them. (And then when I ran out of the colchicine, I stopped. And crashed.)

Was the benefit and eventual crash from the colchicine, or from slamming the vitamins? My aunt is quite convinced we have FMF, but I don't know -- we'll see how just slamming the vitamins goes.

... I mean, it can't freaking hurt, certainly.

I don't feel dead today -- which I expected to after going out tonight -- and it is warm and nice today, but hm. Just too many variables, blah.

I definitely think magnesium helps me... I used to get those AWFUL leg cramps until I started taking magnesium and potassium. (Again, I try not to stretch my legs weirdly, but I haven't gotten those ones randomly while I'm sleeping that wake me up screaming or anything.)

Nobody is trying to sell me on a "cure" or "all better," but if I get decent quality of life improvement because all this year I really needed to be taking more vitamins, I will laugh hysterically and smash my head into things.
