I'm not actually all that fond of art deco, either!
I wouldn't say I abhor it, and can appreciate it in context, I suppose, but I think it's reached the "lolz, look how clever I am by drawing my comic book cover in art deco style omg I am so learned" saturation point that I am allowed to be kind of tired of it.
