Y'know what I did with the stack of mix CDs I never listen to? Dumped 'em into the free bin at the big used bookstore (after I decided that was more immediate than offering them through Freecycle); the unwanted "real" CDs are offered to said used bookstore to purchase, natch. I still have lots of CDs on the living room shelves, and Van has most of his in a binder, but I don't have nearly as many as, say, my Dad, so it's not an out-of-control-clutter situation. If I could bring myself to trust the stability and permanence of digital media, I might be more tempted to convert to digital and sell the physical CDs. Not yet, though. Not yet.
