Memories of George Takei

I remember the good times George Takei and I would have, sitting underneath the old apple tree. Those long summer nights seemed endless; drinking cool lemonade and watching the stars come out. Sometimes, we'd sing old ballads, or he'd tell an off-color joke, and we'd laugh, and laugh, sure that we would persist like this always. One night, there amidst the balmy August breeze, I confessed that I couldn't wait for him to die. "George," I murmured, "George, won't it be hilarious when you're finally dead?"
"Damn straight," said George.
"Damn straight, said I.
"Damn straight," said George.
"Damn straight, said I.
