I kind of feel like someday we might sell the farm and move closer to D.C.

But if we keep the farm forever, I want to build an aviary someday. When I'm 40, I will keep peacocks, exotic chicken breeds, and crows or rooks or some corvid from a breeder.


If I had ten million dollars, I'd buy a two-headed turtle, a hairless rabbit, and Transylvanian chickens.


Oh. And in my barn, I would also keep a bunch of hissing cockroaches and dermestid beetles. Wheeeeee!

I have to admit I've always wanted a little bit of land to grow things on and maybe to raise things on (almost got chickens at my last place in montana but decided against them at the last minute...even though they were free...for legal reasons).

That being said, dc is a lovely area!
